11 injured, 1 dead in Ukraine serious road accident

UPDATE 9/9/21 2:45 AM: BDH: YidInfo regrets to inform the passing of Reb Avrum Lovy, 44, of Bet Shmesh, Israel, who was tragically killed in the accident on the way from Uman to Kiev Airport. Reb Avrum leaves behind 10 Yesoimem.

Eleven Heimish men from New York were injured when the minibus they were riding hit a car at the Major MVA En-Route in Ukraine Wednesday evening.

Based on the initial reports from the ground, the minibus was on its way to Kiev airport after its passengers attended Rosh Hashanah in Uman.

As the minibus was traveling from Uman to Kiev the collision occurred which landed both vehicles in the woods nearby.

Ten of the passengers only suffered minors bruises while another one 46-year old reportedly from Bet Shemesh, Israel has passed away.

The local police are still conducting a deeper investigation on the incident as of the moment.
