At least eight people were sent to the hospital, and two died Wednesday night after a speeding driver in a stolen automobile drove the wrong way down a street in Chicago.
According to Police Superintendent David Brown, both occupants of the speeding Dodge Charger were declared deceased at the site of the collision in the Chatham district on Chicago’s South Side.
According to authorities, seven people, including a 10-year-old boy and a 15-year-old female, were sent to the hospital due to the collision.
Each item was described as being in fair to good condition.
According to Brown, the Charger had been reported stolen earlier in the day, and police had discovered a gun inside.
Authorities did not immediately identify the two victims who died inside the Charger.
According to Larry Langford, a spokesman for the Chicago Fire Department, “This is a severe crash.” I’ve seen a lot of things, but this is one of the worst.
