On Sunday, 20 people were discovered dead inside a nightclub in the coastal town of East London in South Africa.
The local police said they are still investigating the e deaths of the young people, who reportedly attended a party to celebrate the end of winter school exams.
The local media said bodies were strewn across tables and chairs without any visible signs of injuries.
Health Department spokesman Siyanda Manana said they would conduct an autopsy to know the victims’ causes of death.
“We are going to conduct autopsies as soon as possible to establish the probable cause of death. The deceased have been taken to state mortuaries,” Manana said.
The local police are now conducting a deeper investigation into the incident.
