2021 Jeep Buyers to get 3 Years Worth of Free Maintenance

In celebration of their 80th Anniversary, the globally renowned carmaker has announced the Jeep Wave Customer Care program, under which is three years of free maintenance will be granted to buyers of all 2021 models.

Announcing an exciting line-up of offers in celebration of their 80th Anniversary, Jeep has will be providing non-gratis three-year maintenance, 24/7 phone and online support, trip interruption, and first-day rental coverage for all buyers in 2021. The Jeep Wave program also includes $1,000 worth of trip interruption protection if the owner is more than 100 miles from home plus $35 in car-rental reimbursement. There’s also a dedicated customer service line and the promise of “VIP treatment” at Jeep Brand events.

Marking the occasion even further, the automaker will also be offering up special 80th-anniversary-edition vehicles which will be made available in showrooms by the end of this year. Loaded with advanced safety and technology features and 4×4 capability, these special-edition vehicles include unique wheels with Granite Crystal finish, unique exterior and interior accents, Berber floor mats, and commemorative 80th Anniversary badging, according to the automaker. 

A program that was started in 2015, Jeep Wave first featured access to two years worth of free maintenance and benefits for 2016-model vehicles. At the time, these services were only made available free of cost for models like Wrangler, Gladiator, Grand Cherokee Overland, Trailhawk, Trackhawk, Summit, High Altitude and SRT; and Trailhawk versions of the Cherokee, Compass, and Renegade. For all other models, customers were required to buy into Jeep Wave with a membership fee of $150 per year.

In fact, Jeep had also announced a plan to allow Jeep Wave members to borrow other FCA-model cars and to create a subscription-based ownership model using Jeep Wave, but this never translated into reality.

“As a tribute to our unique, enthusiastic, and growing customer base, we are expanding our Jeep Wave customer care program across the entire Jeep vehicle lineup,” Morrison added. “We are pleased to reward our loyal customers with Jeep Wave premium service that offers peace of mind and no-charge maintenance for three years.”
