In just a span of five hours, three men lay dead after they were shot fatally in n Manhattan and Brooklyn Tuesday.
The NYPD said the first shooting incident occurred around 11:15 a.m. when a man was fatally shot and a woman walking with him was wounded by a brazen assassin on an East Harlem street.
The NYPD identified the dead victim as Davantay Butts who was fatally shot by the suspect who was running across the street near the corner of E. 103rd St. and Third Ave.
The woman companion of Butts survived the attack as she was only hit on her arm.
Butts for his part suffered multiple wounds to his chest.
About three hours later, at 2:20 p.m., a 22-year-old man was also fatally shot outside his home in Brooklyn.
The local police discovered Tahjay Dobson, 22, shot in the head outside his home on Avenue L near E. 98th St. in Canarsie.
Medics took him to Brookdale University Hospital, but he couldn’t be saved.
The shooter hurriedly escaped on-board a dark SUV.
At around 3:45 p.m., another gunman chased down another man on a Harlem street and executed him in what investigators believe was a drug deal gone bad.
