
Eight of the 30 workers who are trapped in a tunnel at the Kochav Hayarden National Park in the Galilee on Monday afternoon have landed on the hospital.
According to reports, the workers suffered minor injuries from smoke inhalation.
In the initial police investigation, the workers were trapped due to a fire that broke out at the archaeological site.
Sources said the fire was quickly extinguished, but heavy smoke remained.
The firefighters who were deployed to the scene rescued them with the help of minibuses.
But sadly eight of them suffered minor injuries due to smoke inhalation.
