Authorities said that a boater who had been missing for more than 15 hours was found in a partially submerged boat off the coast of Florida.
After going missing on a 12-foot flat-bottomed boat, Charles Gregory, 25, was located by the Coast Guard Saturday morning 12 miles off St. Augustine, Florida.
He was saved by a Coast Guard boat crew after being spotted by a Coast Guard helicopter sitting in his partially submerged boat.
According to a news statement from the Coast Guard, he didn’t require any medical attention. Gregory was last spotted leaving St. Augustine’s Lighthouse Park boat ramp on Thursday night.
When he didn’t come home on Friday evening, his family reported him missing.
