On Saturday night, one person was killed and another 17 people injured when a vehicle struck a crowd gathered at a Pennsylvania bar for a fundraiser for victims of a house fire that killed 10 earlier this month.
The police said the suspect had also killed a woman in a separate incident.
The Pennsylvania State Police said the crash occurred outside the Intoxicology Department bar in Berwick at about 6:15 p.m. Saturday.
The arrested driver was identified as 24-year-old Adrian Oswaldo Sura Reyes, who was arraigned early Sunday morning on two counts of criminal homicide.
According to reports, the suspect was taken into custody after authorities received a call about an assault near Nescopeck, wherein a woman was found dead.
