Al-Ein “refugee” camp commander Amir Khalifa was killed over the night, according to the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, a former affiliate of the Fatah terror group.

This information was released on Thursday.

The group claims that the IDF killed Khalifa in the town of Zawata, west of Shechem. The terrorist was killed, according to the Palestinian Authority’s health ministry.

The outfit further claimed that its terrorists and IDF forces engaged in a fierce gunfight at around 4:00 AM.

The terrorist’s brother allegedly told the Arabic Wafa news agency that the IDF was responsible for the ambush, which murdered the terrorist by luring him out of the el-Ein.

The man continued, saying that his brother had been “wanted by the occupation forces for two years and survived several assassination attempts by Israeli special forces.

The increase in executions, according to a Hamas spokesperson, “demonstrates the incapacity of the occupation forces to combat the heroes of the opposition,” and “The cowardly elimination tactics will not stop the growth of the armed opposition or frighten its revolutionary heroes, but will serve as fuel for the revolution of our people with heroic revenge actions for the martyrs.”

IDF personnel said that they detained a man, age 21, who was planning to carry out a terrorist assault in Israel last week in Yericho.

Four days prior, the IDF killed three terrorists when it stopped a terrorist cell in Jenin on its way to an attack. These occurrences did not result in any casualties.
