An elderly man was detained on Friday after he was seen “fishing” jewels out of Jerusalem storefront windows.
The 72-year-old man repeatedly removed the jewels last month, according to the Jerusalem Post, using a metal wire in what the Police described as a clever method.
The man was apprehended by hotel security as he attempted to break in a nearby company.
He will remain in custody through at least Tuesday, as authorities look into his Offences.
