A man who threatened to shoot a Jewish teen in Queens has been charged with a hate crime

According to authorities, a guy accused of intimidating and harassing a Jewish kid in Queens last year has been detained and charged with hate crimes.

According to police, Eli Irby, 23, was charged with aggravated harassment and menacing as a hate crime for the attack on October 20.

Around nine o’clock in the evening, Irby approached the 19-year-old victim in a strip mall on 26th Ave. in Bay Terrace, according to the police.

He yelled vile epithets at the victim and made threats to shoot him.

Irby’s violent outburst followed her ejecting the man without injuring him.

On Thursday night, his Queens Criminal Court arraignment was still ongoing.
