Due to braking problems, Honda recalled nearly 100,000 vehicles, including five models from 2020 to 2023.

Certain 2020-2021 Civic, 2020-2023 Ridgeline, 2021-2023 Passport, 2021-2022 Pilot, and 2020 Acura MDX vehicles are involved in the recall, which Honda reported to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration on June 29.

A total of 124,077 automobiles could be impacted

The connection between the brake booster and brake master cylinder is slack, which is the cause of the problem.

As a result, there may be a risk of a collision and the brake master cylinder detaching from the booster assembly.

Dealerships offer free inspections and repairs for owners’ vehicles. On August 7, 2023, notices will be sent to drivers.
