After being reinstated less than 24 hours ago, Twitter has once more suspended the account of Holocaust denier and neo-Nazi Nick Fuentes.
After being removed from the network in July 2021, the 24-year-old white nationalist had his account restored on Tuesday.
In one of his first tweets following his return, Fuentes shared a video encouraging antisemite Kanye West’s bid for president in 2024, with an apparent reference to West’s earlier antisemitic tweet in which he threatened to “death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE.”
StopAntisemitism’s Liora Rez, the organization’s executive director, criticized Twitter’s reinstatement in a message to Newsweek.
Rez noted that there was “no justification or explanation” for why someone as anti-Semitic as Nick Fuentes had access to such a large audience on Twitter.
“Someone who’s been known to encourage actual acts of violence and disseminate rumors about a group of people that are disenfranchised should never be given a platform, period.”
Upon his recovery, Twitter users reportedly claimed that Fuentes posted remarks on the social media site regarding domestic terrorist Ted Kaczynski, aka the Unabomber, and Adolf Hitler.
Nick Fuentes is back on Twitter and talked up the "salient point" the Unabomber made in Twitter Spaces tonight.
This was followed by a rant against his enemies in which he said, "Israel did 9/11, and we love Hitler."
Why was this guy reinstated again?
