An Israeli teenager, age 18, was killed and his buddy suffered serious injuries in an ATV accident that happened in Canada.
A second person was slightly hurt in the event. Reuven Landau, a citizen of Nofim, Samaria, who had just finished high school and was traveling as part of his pre-army preparation, perished when the ATV he was riding in was involved in an accident.
On Monday, he will be transported to Israel for burial. Itai Mazor, a friend of his, is a patient in a Canadian hospital.
Reuven Landau, who completed his 12th grade at the Ramot Yam school in the Mevo’ot Yam youth community, passed away, the Emek Hefer Regional Council said in a statement.
At 5:30 PM, Reuven will be laid to rest in Yakir after losing his life in a terrible international car accident.
A 2-year-old Israeli boy died two days ago after climbing on the third-floor window of the hotel where his family was staying in Tbilisi.
In response to the event, Israel’s Foreign Ministry stated: “The incident is known and is being handled by the Consul in Tbilisi and the Department for Israelis Abroad.”
