BDS supporter and socialist politician Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has criticized musician Kanye West for his latest antisemitic remarks.
The remarks made by AOC are incredibly hypocritical.
She is a vocal opponent of Israel and a member of the radical leftist “squad” in Congress, including the antisemites Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar.
On Tuesday, Ocasio wrote: “There is absolutely no room in this country or world for antisemitism.
It is important to see how harmful + dangerous Kanye’s words are – not only to our Jewish brothers, sisters, & siblings but also to our collective society at large.”
AOC’s long history of using fiery language to criticize Israel and Jews.
Ocasio-Cortez has rejected resolutions endorsing support for a two-state solution and denouncing the BDS movement while in office.
She has also accused Israel of “apartheid,” threatened to condition U.S. aid to the Jewish state, and called for sanctions against the BDS movement.
She cast a “present” vote on legislation adding extra financing for Israel’s Iron Dome missile-defense system after the country’s conflicts with Hamas in Gaza.
She and the other Squad supported a resolution that referred to Palestinians as Israel’s “original inhabitants” and made no mention of Jewish history in the area.
