In a disturbing event, an Arab guy attempted to kidnap and throw a married woman into his car in the town of Tiberias in broad daylight.
After the man was repelled by the young woman and yelled, he was eventually taken into custody by Shin Bet agents.
Investigations are being conducted into the possibility that the suspect, a 51-year-old Arab inhabitant of Yafia, abducted the victim for nationalist reasons.
According to the suspect’s statement to the police, the woman was mistaken, and the kidnapping was not his intention.
Later, the victim’s husband claimed: “My wife fought like a hero, a true lioness, and chased him away.”
The woman, whose identity has not been made public, later claimed, “As I was heading down the street, he unlocked the rear door and shoved me toward the car.
Fortunately, I saw that he was attempting to push me into the car.
We struggled, and he entered a store after I fell to the ground.
I sprinted to the central bus station and called the police, who came with a police van and asked me to describe the man.
I instructed the policeman to act quickly to apprehend him before he escaped as soon as he left the business.
