
A Chassidic school bus driver charged in a serious accident in Monsey last month was presented in court on Tuesday.
The motorist allegedly drove carelessly and is accused of jeopardizing the lives of children and others.
He was charged with four felonies, including second-degree assault and reckless endangerment, twenty-one misdemeanor counts of child endangerment, thirty-one traffic infractions, and thirty-one instances of child endangerment.
According to camera evidence that appeared to support the claim, an automobile was pinned underneath the bus in December.
According to accounts, 21 persons, primarily children, were extricated from the collision, and nine were brought to surrounding hospitals, including at least 5 to trauma centers, with 2 in serious condition.
