The dream of Attorney General Letitia James to get reelected again to her position got a much-needed boost on Monday.
The powerful Hotel Trades Council has decided to endorse the reelection bid, James.
Before bagging the endorsement of Hotel Trades Council, the New York State AFL-CIO, New York State United Teachers, and the Transport Workers Union have also endorsed James for reelection.
“She’s proven herself to be determined, formidable and a solid ally for working families,” the hotel workers’ union said in a statement.
“She is the champion that HTC members need fighting on their behalf,” the hotel workers’ union added.
Since taking over the position in 2019, James launched high-profile probes of former President Donald Trump and ex-Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who last year resigned over allegations of misconduct that James investigated.
