Suleiman Othman, arrested on Tuesday morning for his attack on two young men in Bay Ridge, had his bail set just hours after arrest. The DA initially asked for bail to be set for $35,000, yet Othman got away with much less.
Criminal Court Judge Chris Robles set bail for just $5,000 cash, or a $10,000 bond/partially secured with 5% down, for the criminal who attacked two Jewish men. The attack occurred after one of the victims did not take off his green IDF sweatshirt when Othman ordered him to.
Councilwoman Inna Vernikov spoke with Yid Info regarding the outrageous outcome saying, “Tonight my blood boiled as I, along with Dov Hikind, watched the arraignment of Suleiman Othman, the alleged perpetrator of the antisemitic attack that took place on Bay Ridge almost two weeks ago. Because of our broken justice system, the perp will be back on the streets on $1000 bail. The streets of NYC are more dangerous tonight. I will not rest until justice is served.”

The cost of beating a Jew in New York City? $1,000 bail, according to the judge that allowed this suspect to walk free tonight.
I am disgusted at the outcome of this arraignment, and that the young victims had to witness their pain be dismissed.
