BDE: Tragically, a 52-year-old chareidi resident of Monsey was discovered dead on Carlton Road after going missing hours earlier.
The Monsey Scoop said that Mrs. Miriam Zussman vanished at 4:45 on Sunday night and was found by Chaveirim of Rockland County at 1 AM on Monday.
Zussman appeared to have been involved in a hit-and-run accident, with the vehicle either eluding detection or failing to notice the collision.
When Hatzalah volunteers arrived on the scene, Zussman appeared to have been struck by a passing automobile, but sadly they could not revive him.
While Chaveirim members look for security cameras in the neighborhood to help authorities understand how the accident happened, police are on the site and overseeing the investigation of the incident.
