Breaking: Rabbi Chai Yitzchok Twersky, the 92-year-old Rachmastrivka rebbe of Borough Park, passed away this afternoon.
The Rebbe, a well-known tzaddik from around the world, ran his kehillah and Bais Medrash at Borough Park on 45th Street.
He is the other Rachmastrivka Rebbe’s uncle and lives in Jerusalem. At 4 p.m., Levaya will take place. followed by kevurah at the Rachmastrivka part of the Har Shalom Cemetery in Airmont. at the main Rachmastrivka Beis Medrash in Boro Park.
