Ben & Jerry’s, the notoriously antisemitic BDS movement supporter, is facing backlash on Twitter after asking for the repatriation of Native American land to the United States.
The company demanded the restitution of “stolen indigenous land” in a July 4th message and suggested Mount Rushmore as a starting point.
On July 4, the firm tweeted, “It’s high time we acknowledge that the US exists on stolen Indigenous land and commit to returning it.”
On its website, the ice cream firm claimed that the parades, cookouts, and fireworks displays that are typical of the occasion can “distract” from the “essential truth” of the United States’ founding, which is that it was done by stealing territory from Indigenous communities.
In response, Ben Shapiro said, “Your HQ in Vermont would be a great place to start.
Please leave and take Bernie Sanders @RashidaTlaib with you, Askan Chaskel Bennett tweeted.
Following their announcement that they would no longer sell ice cream in Israel’s “Occupied Palestinian Territory,” the company encountered extremely damaging consumer boycotts in 2021.
They have a lengthy history of championing extreme leftist political causes, such as the “Black Lives Matter” movement and other divisive subjects.
