Israel Prime Minister Naftali Bennett described Israel as a lighthouse in a stormy sea during his speech at the United Nations General Assembly on Monday.
Bennett said attacking Israel is not good or will make you superior since they are the only democracy in the Middle East.
He said Israel is a diverse democracy that contributes to the world with its innovations.
“Attacking Israel doesn’t make you morally superior,” Bennett said.
Fighting the only democracy in the Middle East doesn’t make you ‘woke,” Bennett added.
In his speech, Bennett also thanked the 38 countries that opted out of last week’s Durban IV Conference.
The Durban IV conference marked 20 years since the World Conference on Racism, which devolved into antisemitism and anti-Israel bias.
“I thank the 38 countries who chose truth over lies and skipped the conference,” Bennett said.
Bennett also thanked the US its long-time friend for the vote last week to fund $1bn. In Iron Dome batteries.
