Swerving far away from the fact that the economy is in shambles due to inflation and sky-high gas prices, President Biden once again claimed that this is a great opportunity to become less reliant on fossil fuels.

Making the case twice, Biden is apparently trying to tell Americans that he’s destroying the economy on purpose- which is to promote the use of clean energy. In May, Biden told reporters, “When it comes to the gas prices, we’re going through an INCREDIBLE transition… And, G-d willing, when it’s over we’ll be less reliant on fossil fuels.”
He repeated the same notion this week when he suggested that high gas prices will be a “good” opportunity to make a “fundamental turn” to clean energy. “My dear mother used to have an expression: out of everything lousy, something good will happen if you look hard enough for it. We have a chance to make a fundamental turn toward renewable energy, electric vehicles, and not just electric vehicles but across the board,” Biden said.
This seems highly insensitive of the American president, who is currently leading a country of citizens that are struggling to pay monthly bills. Filling up a tank of gas is more expensive than ever, and most experts are saying a recession is imminent.
