On Wednesday, Elon Musk’s “cooperation and technical partnerships with other countries is worthy of being looked at,” according to President Joe Biden.
During a press briefing at the White House, Biden was asked if he believed that Musk, the CEO of Tesla and the new owner of Twitter, threatened the country’s security.
At the White House, Biden told reporters, “I think Elon Musk’s cooperation and technological partnerships with other countries are worthy of being looked at.
“I don’t mean to imply that he is misbehaving, but it’s worth looking into whether or not he is. And that’s all I have to say,” he added.
At least one Democratic senator has called for a probe into the security implications of Saudi Arabia’s stake in Twitter after Musk took over the company. Biden stressed that he was not saying Musk is doing “anything inappropriate.”
