On Tuesday night, Boro Park Shomrim arrested a violent criminal who had previously beaten a victim before robbing him at a railway station.
A man was struck over the head with a metal wrench by the perpetrator during the event, which took place at the railway station near New Utrecht and 43rd Street.
The man was knocked out and had significant head injuries. The thief then robbed the victim before running away.
After witnessing the brutal crime, a female eyewitness started yelling for assistance. When adjacent Shomrim members heard her calls, they swiftly took action.
Prior to the end of the video from the scene, several Chasidic males dressed in black and white are seen pursuing the suspect.
Finally apprehended by Shomrim at Fort Hamilton and 43rd Street, the culprit was subsequently taken into custody by the NYPD. The person received medical attention from EMS before being sent to a nearby hospital for more medical care.
Yidinfo has learned that the suspect’s arrest led the NYPD’s 62nd Precinct to connect him to two recent violent robberies that took place in NYC.
