According to police sources, a 15-year-old boy fatally shot an adolescent girl while the two sat in a vehicle in Queens.
Around 5 p.m., Shantasia O’Brian was shot in the back. Police say they were called to a home on Friday on 136th Ave. near Brookville Blvd. in Laurelton.
Shantasia was transported to Jamaica Hospital, but she could not be rescued. According to authorities, she resided roughly three miles away in Queens Village.
Police detained two people for questioning and eventually charged the boy with manslaughter and firearm possession.
The cops did not release his identity because he was a juvenile.
