Suleiman Othman, age 27 from Staten Island, has been arrested on Tuesday morning for his attack on two young men in Bay Ridge. The attack occurred on Sunday, Dec 26, 2021, outside of Foot Locker, and began with Suleiman Othman and another man approaching one of the young men, Blake Zavadsky, who was wearing an olive green IDF sweatshirt with the yellow Mogen Dovid and Hebrew lettering on it.

The pair threatened Zevadksy saying “You have five seconds to take that off, or I’ll punch you.” Zevadsky backed up and was then punched in the face and had an iced coffee thrown at him as well. When Zevadsky turned around, he was punched in his back.
The two attackers were screaming curses at the young men, including “Dirty Jew’, and “You Dirty Jews! What are you doing in my neighborhood?”
When the other young man, Ilan Kanovich stepped forward to intervene, he was shoved back and was threatened with, “You better stay away, or we are going to beat the s*** out of you also!”
The pair of miscreants took off towards 4th Avenue. All the while, the employees of Foot Locker were watching what went down and made no move to assist or even open the door.
The criminal has been found and arrested due to the help of security cameras, and is being charged with Assault 3rd Degree/Hate Crime and Aggravated Harassment/Hate Crime.
