According to authorities, a Jewish community center in Edison was evacuated because of a bomb threat, according to New Jersey’s News 12.
According to reports, the Middlesex County JCC received the threat over the phone.
We’re treating it as a serious event,” said Edison Police Chief Robert Dudash, adding that the warning “looks consistent” with other threats to similar facilities.
The story claims that police officials forbade even those evacuated from the JCC from leaving for their vehicles.
This terrifying occurrence occurred just a few days after the FBI warned that shuls in New Jersey were under threat last week.
