The Canadian government has continued to go hard on people protesting against vaccine mandates.
On Friday night, the Canadian police arrested seven people and towed 24 vehicles in the Canadian capital of Ottawa.
The police said they made a move to avoid a repeat of the “Freedom Convoy” demonstrations that snarled downtown Ottawa in February.
“There have been no reported injuries, and police remain in full control of city streets,” Ottawa police said Friday night in a statement.
Sources said Ottawa police cordoned off areas of the city, leading to physical shoving matches as demonstrators attempted to enter those areas.
