The local police arrested two men for causing the death of a Jewish man who was fatally struck by a tram at the Paris subway.
The prosecutors said the victim, identified as Jeremy Cohen, 31, died after he was hit by a moving train after he ran while being chased by the two suspects.
Sources said the victim’s death was initially considered an accident; however, the evidence gathered by the police showed them attacking the victim before he died.
According to reports, the arrests were made after Jeremy’s family, convinced that he didn’t simply run in front of a train, launched a campaign to find footage from the incident, distributed leaflets, and interviewed witnesses.
