The local police are now investigating the shooting of three people inside Eastridge Mall in North Carolina on Friday afternoon.

The Gastonia Police Department said the shooting occurred around 12:10 p.m. at the mall’s food court.

The police revealed the three victims are now being treated at a local hospital and are expected to recover from their injuries.

A suspect in the shooting is now also being chased at a wooded area near the mall.

Sources said it sits near the South Carolina border, just over 30 miles west of Charlotte.
