On Thursday evening, the New Jersey State Police and East Rutherford police are now tracking down two suspects who shot a man twice in the chest in the parking lot at the American Dream Mall in East Rutherford.

In the initial police investigation, people went into chaos at the mall in the Meadowlands Sports Complex after the bleeding victim walked into the mall shortly before 6 in the evening.

Due to the incident, the whole place was placed on lockdown.

The victim was reportedly conscious, and breathing was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center.

The two suspects are Hispanic men, one wearing a camo hat, possibly fleeing in a silver Honda.

To aid in the arrest of the suspect and the investigation of the shooting incident, a Bergen County Regional SWAT team was also sent to the area.

Sources said the shooting came hours after the mall announced Thursday that it would stage live concerts by artists including Ludacris through a multi-year deal with Live Nation.
