A gun scare in Maryland on Saturday night during a basketball game involving Bronny James, the son of LeBron James of the Lakers, caused a chaotic scene.
James’ Sierra Canyon of Los Angeles was playing the local team DeMatha Catholic when a quarrel broke out in the crowd, and someone shouted “gun,” which caused the game to end and the players to flee the field for their safety.
After the incident, the game was not continued, but authorities informed TMZ Sports that a “thorough search” revealed no weapon.
Bronny James lamented the fact that “high students can’t even hoop in peace nowadays” in an Instagram story.
Both teams missed the same event’s Sunday games.
One of the best high school basketball recruiters, Bronny James, a senior, hasn’t made up his mind about where he’ll play or train for the upcoming season.
He probably has the 2024 NBA Draft in mind.
