After three days of hiding combined, Israeli forces finally arrested the two suspects who attacked Elad, leading to the death of three people last May 5.
The elements of IDF soldiers, Border Police officers, special forces, and Shin Bet operatives arrested the suspects around 11 a.m. on May 8.
The terrorists, identified as As’ad Alrafa’ani, 19, and Sabhi abu Shakir, 20, both from the town of Rumana, near Jenin, were found hiding in the bushes in the forested area around Elad.
The two, tired and hungry, did not anymore resist their arrest.
The two suspects are now being interrogated at Shin Bet.
The daring attack took place in the mostly charedi town of Elad and killed Yonatan Chavakuk, hy”d; Oren Ben Yiftah; and Boaz Gol.
Sources said the victims leave behind a total of 16 orphans.
