Authorities have confirmed the deaths of a pregnant woman, her unborn child, and a cousin, R”L.
On Thursday evening, a bus lost control and rammed into a store on Shamgar Street in Jerusalem, killing three people and injuring several others.
According to reports, the tragedy happened on the busy Shamgar Street right outside the Rav Shefa mall, when the bus lost control for reasons unknown and jumped the curb striking multiple pedestrians.
Alert emergency personnel immediately rushed to the scene and treated numerous victims.
However, three victims, including a three-year-old child, were found dead on the scene.
The incident comes just two days after an Egged bus swerved into pedestrians and crashed into a construction site at Jerusalem’s Yirmiyahu Street on Tuesday night, killing a 70-year-old Israeli man and lightly injuring another pedestrian.
