Canadian singing superstar Justin Bieber has decided to postpone his scheduled concerts after he tested positive for COVID over the weekend.
A rep for Bieber said the superstar singer learned about his diagnosis on Saturday.
The rep said due to his COVID infection, Bieber could no longer perform at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday.
The rep said the 27-year-old artist is doing OK.
Sources said with his infection, the Bieber team on Sunday decided to reschedule the Las Vegas show on June 28.
The team added that Tuesday’s planned concert in Glendale, Ariz., has also been rescheduled “due to the ongoing COVID situation” and will now take place June 30.
“Justin is of course hugely disappointed, but the health and safety of his crew and fans is always his number one priority,” Bieber’s team said in a statement.
Moreover, the team said ticket holders for the postponed shows can use their passes on the new dates, or pursue a refund from wherever they made the purchase.
