On Sunday morning, six people were reported killed and nine others badly injured in a mass shooting incident in downtown Sacramento.
The Sacramento Police said the shooting occurred around 8 a.m., which shocked the residents in the area.
Circulating video of the shooting incident shows people running through the street as the sound of gunfire could be heard.
The police said they are still investigating the number of shooters in the incident.
A deeper investigation of the incident is also now underway.
The mass shooting came a month after five people were shot dead when a man killed his children inside a California church before killing himself.
