On Tuesday, a huge fire hit a Brox home, killing a 73-year-old woman and wounding eight other residents.
The FDNY officials said the fire started just after 9 a.m. inside the two-story home on Valentine Ave. near E. 182nd St. in Fordham Heights — just around the corner from Twin Parks North West, where 17 people died, including eight children, in a January blaze.
The fire spread fast and hit two adjoining buildings.
Responding firefighters discovered the dead victim inside the home.
FDNY officials revealed six residents and two firefighters suffered minor injuries due to the fire.
Sources said 160 firefighters and EMS members were called into battle the blaze and treat the injured.
A deeper investigation into the cause of the deadly fire is now underway.
