The Central District prosecutor indicted a 35-year-old Bnei Brak instructor who taught in an Elad Talmud Torah on suspicion of molesting two children while trapped in the classroom.
The scathing indictment was issued by attorney Moshe Yechezkel and details how the accused attacked two minors aged 12 and 14 studying in the Talmud Torah and exploited his position and role to give favorable attention to the youths in exchange for abusing them for a half-year period beginning in early 2022.
The actions were committed during recess when the teacher was trapped in the classroom with the students.
In his request for the accused to be held in custody until the end of legal procedures, Yechezkel noted that “the respondent’s acts reveal that he did not hesitate to employ deceit and cunning to damage young juveniles.”
The respondent used his position to foster trust and closeness and capitalize on an opportunity to execute his job. ”
The accused is accused of engaging in illegal activities with juveniles under the age of 16 and 14 while abusing his position of authority and their reliance on him and his educational and supervisory functions.
“If there are further victims of the accused, they should call the police and file a report,” officials stated.
