Police special forces from the Tel Aviv area apprehended a terror suspect in the big Jaffa square who had piqued their interest.
Following an investigation, the individual was discovered to be an illegal Shechem resident possessing a Karlo submachine gun and two explosive devices.
After being taken in for questioning, the terrorist admitted that he was on his way to carrying out a terror attack in central Tel Aviv in a “crowded place.”
It was also revealed that the suspect had been arrested just four months before he ascended Temple Mount carrying a knife but had been released for various reasons.
