Another antisemitic incident troubled the Jewish community in London, where a party bus was attacked by a group of men who spat at the bus and performed Nazi salutes towards the frum men inside.
After a spate of antisemitic incidents in the UK, another video shows a group of men performing Nazi salutes, cursing at the passengers, spitting on them, and then slamming their fists against the bus door and windows. Chabad Rabbi Shneor Glitsenstein, who was on the bus, told a media outlet that the men also yelled “Free Palestine” at them.

Traveling in the party bus were frum community members of the Hasidic group Chabad, which does religious outreach such as arranging for candelabras to be put up around the British capital to mark the Jewish holiday, said Dave Rich, the Community Security Trust’s director of policy. They “were quite frightened that the group who were threatening them were going to physically assault them, they were spitting at them,” Rich said. “They definitely felt it was because they were Jewish that they’d been targeted, there was absolutely no doubt about that.”
“Antisemitism has no place whatsoever in society and I utterly condemn these disgusting acts,” London Mayor Sadiq Khan tweeted.
The metropolitan police are now investigating the incident as a hate crime, and are in search of the perpetrators.
