Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzales took time from his busy schedule to visit 13t Avenue on Sunday to check on the stores and the Sukkos preparations of Boro Parkers.
Gonzales said as DA it is his responsibility to ensure the safety of the community and he is just happy to be invited to the area.
“The responsibilities of the district attorney are to keep folks safe,” Gonzales said.
Gonzales is loved by the Jewish community because he fights hate crimes and swiftly imposes justice on perpetrators.
Sources said with his good performance, Gonzales has a good chance of becoming an attorney general in the future.
He is the only DA who hired 10 senior investigators to focus on hate crimes and caused the indictment of three men who were charged with anti-semitic hate crime in Boro Park and Flatbush.
