In the wake of Hamas’ attack on Israel, Canadian citizens will be flown out of the nation from the Tel Aviv, Israel, airport in the following days, the country’s foreign minister announced on Tuesday.
Foreign Minister Mélanie Joly wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, “The government plans to carry out the evacuation using aircraft from the Canadian Armed Forces and is working on other options for people who are unable to reach the airport in Tel Aviv.”
The article made no mention of the Canadians who are allegedly stuck in Gaza as a result of Israel cutting off the Hamas-ruled region.
How many of its residents are dead or missing? is a question that Canada is attempting to answer.
The identities of two of the hundreds slain while attending a music festival in southern Israel have been confirmed by friends and relatives.
They are 22-year-old Ben Mizrachi from Vancouver and 33-year-old Alexandre Look, a former Montreal resident.
