The NYPD is now tracking down a man who punched a young man without provocation at Avenue L between New York Ave and East 32 in Flatbush on Friday night.
The NYPD said the victim was walking in the area around 10:35 p.m. when a minivan pulled up and someone from that car asked him where the nearest gas station is located.
The victim told him there is none in the area and continued walking.
The van followed him and a male suspect went out and punched him repeatedly as the driver filmed the assault.
The suspect escaped leaving the victim injured and shocked from the assault.
The NYPD with the help of Flatbush Shomrim are now conducting a deeper investigation on the daring assault.
