
Gyms are finally allowed to reopen starting August 24, Gov. Cuomo announced.
Gyms across N.Y. will be allowed to reopen at the beginning of next week with a capacity of 33%, where masks must be worn at all times while being in the gym.
“Localities must open gyms by September 2″, Cuomo said, adding: “localities can determine whether or not the gyms can have classes inside it”.
Gyms can open as soon as August 24 at 33% capacity with mandatory mask wearing and other strict health measures.
HVAC systems must meet guidelines.
Localities must inspect every gym before it opens or within 2 weeks of opening.
Localities must enforce regulations.
