Chaim Deutsch, Councilman of the 48th District in Brooklyn, paid a visit to local NYPD precinct’s to thank the badges in blue for their hard work.
On Monday, July 6, 2020, Councilman Chaim Deutsch paid a visit to the NYPD 61st precinct which serves a southern portion of Brooklyn and encompasses Kings Bay, Gravesend, Sheepshead Bay, and Manhattan Beach, to encourage the police officers who get slammed by the radical left on a daily basis.
Councilman Deutsch had the chance to visit the 61st precinct’s midnight patrol right before their shift started. Councilman Deutsch expressed his appreciation and support for their service. “I also brought along my daughter, because it’s important to teach young people respect for law enforcement!”, Councilman Chaim Deutch tweeted.
One day later, on Tuesday, July 7, 2020, Councilman Chaim Deutsch among with his wife Sara, paid a visit to the NYPD 70th precinct which is centrally located in the borough of Brooklyn and serves Midwood, Fiske Terrace, Ditmas Park, and Prospect Park South, to show appreciation and to encourage the police officers on behalf of his district.
It is very important to build a good relationship with the police officers that watch our neighborhood, especially after the NYPD was defunded by one billion dollars, a local resident said.
These visits by Councilman Chaim Deutch come after the NYPD’s anti-crime was dismantled and a drastic amount of one billion dollars was cut in the NYPD’s budget, ordered by the radical left mayor of NYC, Bill de Bllasio.
Since then, shootings and stabbings have spiked up in NYC. Several high ranking police officers joined by many politicians and activists have begged the NYC mayor to rebuild the NYPD’s anti-crime task force. Unfortunately, four walls are being tapped at this point.
