An attempted robbery took place on motzei Shabbos, February 13 at a gift store on 13th Avenue and 55th Street. A male walked into the store with an unknown weapon and demanded money.
The seventeen-year-old cashier threw an undisclosed amount of money on the floor before fleeing from the store. She immediately called Shomrim, who were on the scene in moments.
The suspect panicked and, without even picking up the money, fled in a white Honda Accord, 17′.
