The Gerrer Rebbe tested positive for the coronavirus despite receiving the third vaccine in the United States 10 days ago.
With his COVID-19 sickness, The Rebbe has decided to stay home on Monday to recuperate and avoid inflicting people.
Due to his medical condition, Selichos was recited without him at the Gerrer Beis Medrash.
The source also said the Rebbe’s kabbalas kahal ahead of the Yamim Noraim that was scheduled for this week was canceled.
Despite his medical ordeal, the Rebbe is reportedly feeling well.
The Rebbe returned from the States last week.
He was spending several weeks in the States with his Chassidim and celebrating the wedding of his granddaughter.
