A shocking episode occurred on Friday night when two boys were held up at gunpoint outside of their home at about 1:30 AM. The incident occurred in Flatbush on East 34th Street between Avenue K and L.
The two suspects first passed with a car, then came back around and pulled a gun on the two boys that were chatting outside the home, demanding they hand over all their money. The boys explained that they had no money on them because it was Shabbos. That’s when one of the suspects yanked one boy by his tie and started searching for him, but obviously had no luck.

The suspects then attempted to go into the house, but the smart, quick-thinking boys told the suspects that the house was full of people, scaring them away, even though that wasn’t true.
The victim’s family contacted Shomrim of Flatbush, who immediately alerted the NYPD. The NYPD recovered some surveillance footage and is now conducting a thorough investigation with the support of well-known high-ranking Orthodox NYPD Inspector Richie Taylor.
